I sometimes take the dogs for some walks there. I just get nervous with all the ticks eventhough they are on a topical prevention. I am always looking for a spot to bring them.

You're right to worry about ticks, wherever you go. We just learned that my Pom has Lyme disease, and he hasn't had a tick in two years. If you find ticks, even just one, get your dog blood-tested for Lyme. It's an easy enough fix, but they have to be able to find it!
