Oh as I sit here by the firelight with my Dookie next to me (we had a wondrous meal and he had his favorite; pork chops!) I am thankful and wanted to wish all you lovely people and your little loves a joyous and delightful Thanksgiving!

It sounds like you + Dookie had a very nice Thanksgiving. pork chops!! mmm sounds good, Lucky Dookie. :) We had a very nice Thanksgiving also my dog Crystal really enjoyed her turkey with cranberry sauce. she really wanted some pudding pie with whip cream so I gave her a liittle pumpkin pie. She loved it! :)

We went to my parents' house. My Pom, Chopper, has my mom wrapped around his little paw. He yaps like a puppy and herds her into the kitchen to get him his treats already, gashdarnitall!! It's so funny to watch him!

Glad you guys had a good Thanksgiving. My dogs are on a raw diet so they both split a Turkey. They were in heaven. Here is a picture of Diesel eating his pumpkin.He loves it and it keeps him busy.

Dandlei--Wow! What a nice picture of Diesel. I can really see his coloring just beautiful!! It sounds like both dogs had a great feast. Diesel is really into that pumpkin! :)

Never feed your pet turkey bones. which can cause damage to the mouth, throat or intestines. You can offer your pet a chew bone or toy as a distraction, or feed your pet right before everyone else sits down to eat. After everyone has enjoyed their meal, make sure to clean up all the food and scraps right away, or keep your pet out of the room until you have a chance to clean up. Garbage should be secured and taken outside right away to avoid pets snooping while you entertain guests.
